| CRIME – Containing radicalization in Modern Europe |
|
To study the implementation on the prevention and response to violent radicalization and terrorist recruitment, EURISC goal is to use the accumulated knowledge, augmented with experience from the field to address these practical problems.
Specifically, the main questions addressed by the present project are: How can the process of radicalization be understood in terms of the increasingly radical stages that an individual can go through? Which strategies or interventions can be identified to prevent, stabilize or reverse the radicalization process? The project – Containing radicalization in Modern Europe (CRIME) – is a partnership of four organizations specialized in security research. The project is led by the Dutch Ministry of International Affairs and Kingdom Relations. TNO from the Netherlands, EURISC from Romania and CEIS from France are current participating organizations. |
