The SIMAC project goal was to realize a complex model for the creation of the national system of integrated management of crises situations. The model has, as the final phase, the development of systems and platforms that will allow a fast return to the normal status of the national system. Such models do not exist in Romania at the moment.

The project wants to realize a series of theoretical researches and complexes experiments for the realization of a approach methodology and optimal solution of the crises and emergency situations, having also an experimental model of a platform type: Mobile Command Centre for the coordination of the intervention activities.

Further approaches are: the creation of a fully integrated framework for the crises and disaster management that will assure the integration and the efficient development of the needed measures when those kinds of situations occure, for a fast return to the normal status.
